Ontario Track3 Adaptive Sports Association

 CELEBRATES 50 YEARS

Honouring Our Legacy

It's been 50 years since Track 3 first hit the snow.

50 years since its humble beginnings at the Osler Bluff Ski Club with a handful of participants and dedicated volunteers, and some custom-made equipment.

Track 3 was founded by Erling Morris and Doug Keary in 1972.

The Program, initially ran at one hill with primarily physically disabled skiers, now includes a wide spectrum and combination of neurotypical, neurodiverse and physically atypical snowboarders and alpine & nordic skiers in 14 adaptive winter sports programs at 9 host hill location.

Our host hills serve 160 kids and 300 + volunteers annually across Ontario.

Track3 has grown its alliances with other adaptive sports programs across Canada and in the United States.

Track3 even managed to run a COVID-adapted program throughout year 2 of the pandemic.

Over the years, Ontario Track3 has made a difference in the lives of more than 5000 participants and countless volunteers. Many of our kids have gone on to become volunteer instructors and key members of the organization and many of our kids do go on to do amazing things that they frequently attribute in part to experiences they've had with Track3.

Quite a legacy! Another tribute to Track3's legacy is the longevity of our volunteers. Many of our volunteers have been with Track3 for decades and several of them volunteer at multiple locations many days and nights throughout the season.

In celebration of our 50th year, we are now asking for your help in honouring the Track3 legacy by sharing your experiences with Track3.

Whether you're a current or former member of Track3, or just know about Track3 and the impact it's had on others, we'd love to hear from you.

We're assembling stories, short anecdotes, lessons learned, photos, videos, and even Track3 memorabilia that we want to share to honour Track3's 50 year legacy.

Will you help us start telling the story of our next 50 years?!
