Our unique program requires a customized registration process designed to make the "best fit" placement for each student. And one size definetly does not fit all. Matching our resources (volunteers and equipment) with student needs and requests (program/day choice, platform, equipment needs, skill level) is an artform in itself. These variables change as more volunteers come on board and students make progress through our programs. While we cannot generally offer a space in our programs immediately upon request, be assured that we monitor our student database regularly to make sure we are getting the most number of students out to the hills to enjoy the magic of snow sports.
A note about our adaptive ski equipment:
Track 3 supplies all of the ski equipment for students. The Track 3 equipment is for the use of the participants under our supervision. The equipment is checked by our ski technicians to be sure it functions properly and meets safety standards that are compliant with insurance requirements. We are unable to loan any of the equipment for use other than during our regular ski program periods under our supervision.
Mandatory Helmet Policy
In support of Track 3’s motto, safety, fun and learning, helmets are required to be used by students and volunteers for on-hill. Your child will not be allowed to board the bus or go onto the hill unless they have their helmet with them.
Given the demand for our programs, we try our best to ensure that we thoroughly assess each child before we place them on our waitlist. This entry process is designed to be fair, transparent and clear for each family.
If you are interested in getting your youth or child, between the ages of 6 and 19 years of age, into the Track 3 program, we would like to inform you that our current wait list has approximately 100 students with a wait time based on making the best match with our resources available. Please do not let this discourage your attempts to join Track 3, because here at Track 3, we never say never. Please visit our New Student Inquiry page for details on how to reach us.
If you are or have a returning student, information pertaining to the upcoming season will be sent to you by email in the fall. Visit our website in late August for full details. If you have not received it, please contact the office immediately. Please see our Returning Students page for more details.
