Volunteer opportunities are everywhere at Track 3!

If you have the time, we have the opportunity. Whether it is on the hill or behind the scenes, Track 3 relies on the fantastic and selfless support of our volunteers. Take a look below at the many positions available and then get in touch with us!  

Volunteer positions include:

Instructors & Assistants for Skiing – instruct students to ski, usually two instructors per student. No special certification is required. Track 3 provides training for all instructors. You must be able to ski in control and have patience and understanding of our students needs. Minimum age for instructors is 17, minimum age for assistants is 15.

Instructors & Assistants for Snowboarding – instruct students to snowboard, usually two instructors per student. No special certification is required. Track 3 provides training for all instructors. You must be able to snowboard in control and have patience and understanding of our students needs.

Support Staff – assist on buses; assist students during breaks & lunches; transport students using snowmobile; control, monitor & distribute student medication; assist in keeping facilities clean.

Bus Captains – ensure all children taking the buses are able to get on and off safely; assist students and other staff during bus transportation; arrange breakfast pick up at breakfast stop; collect medications from students and provide to program directors.

Program Directors – organize weekly program and scheduling with the students and staff; provide record keeping; co-ordinate staff training.

Administration – assist with administrative tasks at the hill, at the office and during events; occasionally provide assistance with office administration such as mailings, stuffing envelopes, phone call blitzes, soliciting products and items for silent or live auctions, etc.

Fundraising Committee – assist with fundraising initiatives and long range planning for the organization.

Volunteer Committee – provide ideas and strategies for volunteer retention; assist with recruitment of new volunteers.

Event Committees – procure auction items for all events; hands-on participation in preparation for pre-event set up and post-event tear-down.  Also, procuring auction items for all events. You may not be required to participate in all activities described here.  Tasks will be broken down among groups depending on final number of participants.
